My Glorious Return to WoW Redux
Mar. 17th, 2008 04:13 pmAs of yesterday, it's officially been three months since my last 10-day WoW trial, and thanks to hidaman I now have an active account again. Yes, I'm still stuck at 60 with Keegan (stupid trial rules *grumble grumble*), but there's light at the end of the tunnel. You see, this time, I will be picking up a full expansion disc and reactivating my account in earnest.
My play time will be limited - that's one of the conditions that I worked out withthe_z, and I'm absolutely fine with that. I have a family to look after, and a wife to help with the baby, and a baby daughter to play with, not even counting the other hobbies I have (40K, other games, Friday night roleplay, etc.). At most, I'll be playing a few hours on the weekends, with the occasional late-evening check in to see people. From what I've heard and seen, though, the game's much friendlier to casual play like that these days, so hopefully I can make some progress. It'll be fun to work on alts again as well. Beshaba, my little bundle of bad luck, has been woefully ignored all this time.
Also, I'm happy that my old guild is still around and ready to help me get caught back up. :)
