Congratulations! It's asthma!
Mar. 7th, 2008 12:19 pmAfter two soccer games that ended with me barely able to breathe, I went to the doctor this morning to see what she recommended.
Her official diagnosis? Exercise-induced asthma, which is what I suspected. I've got a prescription for an inhaler now, though, so hopefully I can keep my lungs open through an entire game. Based on my history of bronchitis, she wants me to keep an eye on it, as it could transition into mild intermittent asthma later on. Also, with both Z and I having asthma, there's an increased risk of Andi developing it, so we have to keep our eyes on her too.
Hopefully, though, this will solve my problems for the time being.
