Eight.

Another in-person interview has been set up for next Monday.

Of the interviews I've had so far, 2 phone interviews (Monday's, and one of Wednesday's) have led to in-person interviews (tomorrow's and Monday's, respectively). Two of the in-person interviews I've had have gone well, in my opinion, and one's gone so-so. One phone interview went well, up to the point where they expressed that my interest in a structured work environment (based on my psych evaluation and the interview) wouldn't mesh with their chaotic work environment (but they were very happy with my skill level).

I'd say that I have good chances at two of the positions, a fair chance at a third, and tomorrow and Monday will determine how I feel about another two. Of all of the jobs, I think the one I interviewed today is the one I'm most interested in, assuming that the money is right (and I'm hoping for at least $5k better than I was making at my last job). It's right along the line of work I want to do, it's in my language of choice, and it's here in the Lee's Summit area - right next door to our church, in fact. Having a 10 minute commute is really, really appealing. The money I'd save in gas and in wear and tear on the car, and the fact that I'd be home a lot faster each day, is worth the extra money I might make somewhere farther away.

Finished playing through Bioshock tonight. A good game. I don't know if I'd say it's a great game, but definitely a good one.

I'll write more later, but I have an early interview in the morning. Oh, and I got a callback from one of my other interviews to set up yet another meeting, so that's a good sign.
