Nov. 25th, 2006 10:51 pmA busy weekend so far, but worth it.
We have our Christmas tree up (yes, our very first full-sized tree), fully decorated and lit (via the magic of fiber-optics - no, it's not a live tree), and looking good. It's freaked Ein out a little bit, but otherwise everyone's happy. With the baby on the way next spring, we're deciding to get some family traditions/heirloom ornaments in play, or at least create a new set of them. :)
Also, around 90-95% of our Christmas shopping is out of the way. We've only got one or two more people to shop for (and mostly because we need to confer with others on what to get them), and there's still going to be cookies and candies made and distributed. No one's going away empty-handed this year. We've got all our gifts for other people under our tree, and there's no more room for anything else. :) I still have to shop a bit for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
the_z, although she knows one of the things I'm going to get her - a copy of Manga Studio (sadly, only the stripped-down $50 Debut edition - the fully-featured EX is $300 and a bit out of our price range for the moment). Got to figure out what else to pick up as far as small surprises go.
I still have to clean up my home office, and we've got grocery shopping and a movie to see tomorrow, so there's a lot left undone yet. Still, it's good to get so much of this out of the way. :)
