Birthday, and other news
First off, good news - the oven is fixed. The local appliance parts shop (well, local as in the nearest one in the KC area) had a replacement element in stock, and at a decent price as well. Got it hope, installed it, switched on the breaker for that circuit, and gave the oven a brief preheat to test it out. Everything's working properly again.
However, that's not why I'm posting.
I'm posting because this weekend, it's my birthday. Saturday, to be specific. I'll be 29 years old on the 15th, and I want to celebrate. animarelic could make it). We'll be going to the Dave and Busters over in KCK, near the Kansas Speedway, around 7:00 PM. Here's the address, and you can get driving directions as well. If people can RSVP with me so I have a rough idea of how many to expect, that'd be great.
In addtion, I'm offering an open invitation for Saturday evening/night too, if anyone wants to come over. This one will be more of a generic hang-out, but I would love to have some company on my actual birthday. I'd like to spend this weekend having a good time with my friends, because you guys really are like family to me.
