I am the development department.
Jun. 2nd, 2006 03:22 pmI don't often write about situations at work. Oh, I vent occasionally about annoying customers, but I don't really talk much about the day-to-day happenings.
However, today's a bit different. One of the two developers under me just resigned to take a position at another company - one that's offering much more pay than he's getting here. The other developer is starting maternity leave this week, as she started having preliminary labor a couple of days ago. This leaves me as the one remaining developer, just as I'm about to go on vacation. This is not so good, as we have a number of large jobs on the horizon.
I can only hope that we will hire people.
