(no subject)

Having a hell of a time staying focused today. That's nothing terribly new, and it's mostly due to work being temporarily slow, but I'm really trying to make sure that I don't slip too deeply into distraction. Meanwhile, tomorrow I'll be prepping for Thursday and Friday - I'll be interviewing the top four applicants that my boss selected from the dozen or so applicants he interviewed for the new development position. Whereas he was checking for general competence, skill level, and such, I'm really looking for how well the person would mesh both with my expectations of them and with the rest of the team. This will be my first official job interviews from the interviewer's side of the desk. A bit daunting -- okay, really daunting -- but I think I'll do fine.

Meanwhile, I have put on my headphones, and I now have work to get back to. Let's hope I can keep on it.
