Oy.

Well, our house and household accessories are slowly breaking down around us. First, it was the microwave. Next, it was the vacuum cleaner (which mysteriously was getting wet in the last month or two). Now, we have discovered the source of the wetness - apparently, the plumbing around/behind the shower has developed a leak. We're hoping it's just a matter of replacing a valve or three, something that can be done without tearing out the wall (which we can do from a closet conveniently placed behind the hower). Not looking forward to this repair.
