Naruto Dub

It's good! It's actually REALLY good! It's faithful to the original, it's not dumbed down or kiddified (other than some editing of flowing blood, but that's because of the timeslot), and the voices fit the characters and are decent matches for the Japanese voices. Mizuki, Ebisu, and Naruto are especially good.

And they use the original "Next Episode" sequences! And they say hokage and jutsu (including Shadow Clone Jutsu and Sexy Jutsu)...

IT'S SO GOOD!

Con update, part 2

Today was cosplay day. tesstrosa didn't cosplay - she's waiting until next con season to put together a Matsumoto costume - but animarelic and I dressed as Bleach characters, he as Urahara, and me as Isshin. He got a couple of photos taken, but no one recognized me, despite the fact that Z had built my hair up perfectly and I even had a name badge that said "Kurosaki Medical Clinic - Kurosaki Isshin, M.D.". Oh well... maybe at A-Kon (or whichever con we go to next).

Business wise, though, Z was busy almost the entire time with commission after commission. A little Naruto, a little Inu Yasha, a little Kingdom Hearts (an awesome KH Sephiroth), and even some WoW fanart. Some print sales, but not much in the way of CDs, although that may change tomorrow - we've been getting the feeling that a number of people have been holding off until the last day of the convention. Hopefully, that'll come to pass. Also met a number of artists who knew her stuff from DeviantArt (and even one who's stuff I've got on my favorites list). Everyone's been really friendly, and I'm looking forward to keeping in touch with everyone.

Also, Lucas (the Laptop) has been earning his keep; we had wireless access in the dealer's room, so Z was able to look up reference material at the table. When we weren't using him for that, we had him showing a slideshow of her art. I'm hoping the next con will have wireless as well; this is great!
