Jul. 31st, 2005 07:28 pmDay 3 of the allergy-inspired death cold. The good news? I'm not having headaches, and I'm not sneezing or having much sinus pressure. The bad news? My voice is still utterly fucked, and I've been coughing all day. Really bad body aches as well. I'm taking tomorrow off so that I can get another day of rest.

tesstrosa is out with animarelic and greenwings to eat sushi. Afterwards, she's bringing me egg drop soup and rice. She's been taking really good care of me; I feel very lucky to have her around.
Let's see, what else? We have a new laptop, thanks to my parents. Well, maybe not new - it is used - but it's one we didn't have before. It bluescreens randomly, but we think a reformat and reinstall of the OS should clear that up. It's got a wireless card as well, so we'll need to get a wireless router. I finally get to take my first foray into the world of wireless networking. Z's looking forward to being able to MUX from the couch. I'm just looking forward to playing around with the thing.
Finally, I have started up a Warmachine hobby. I've got my starting army box, a couple of extra figs, both rule/campaign books, a faction deck, and some laser-cut tokens for my army leader of choice. Now, I just need some superglue, and I can start putting these bad boys together. Reading through the rules, it looks like a pretty simple game to play, but with lots of tactical options. I'm looking forward to my first game.
