Working on 3 hours of sleep or so, but I've got a couple of Sobe Adrenalin Rushes in me to prop me up through the day. Tasty, tasty energy drinks. I like the narrow shooter cans, too; makes it really easy to slam the things down for a quick boost. Going to make sure to hydrate well, too.
Now, the question is, "Is it all worth it to have seen Revenge of the Sith at midnight?"
My answer? Yes, but that's also because it is the end of a long journey for me. My mom nearly went into labor during the opening day of Star Wars 28 years ago. As long as I can remember, it's been a part of my life. I've grown up with it, I've been very familiar with it (although mostly just the movies; my Extended Universe knowledge is spotty at best), and it's always been close, even when it hasn't been that good (Phantom Menace) or when it's strayed horribly from what little EU continuity I know (Attack of the Clones, noticeably the source of the Death Star design). To not be there in line with the rest of the Star Wars geeks (and trust me, they were out in full force, even in Lee's Summit, MO) would have just been a dereliction of duty of sorts.
Final verdict? A good film. Maybe not, "OMG that was fucking awesome!" good, but definitely a solid addition to the saga. I'd agree that it's in the top 3 films, just behind New Hope and Empire. The action was good, the chemistry was better than in Episodes I and II (although Lucas still can't write/direct a romantic scene to save his life), and the transition from Anakin to Vader was pretty convincing. It also stitches the prequels to the original trilogy quite nicely. For all the things it was meant to do, it succeeded.
