Apr. 7th, 2005 02:52 pmLet's see... what have I been up to?
Work's slow today. A little bit here, a little bit there. No one big thing to work on quite yet, although it'll be coming next week. Mostly just finish/touch-up/deploy on a handful of small projects. Not that I mind too terribly much, although it makes the day go slowly. Bouncing from project to project, especially when they're all on different plaftorms and written in different languages, means my brain has to take a few minutes to realign itself to the task at hand. It also presents distraction with a few opportunities to sneak in, meaning that I have trouble with keeping focus sometimes.
Outside of work, things are also fine. I have yet to watch the DVDs of Ravenous and Dark City that I picked up a couple of weeks ago, so I might do that tonight while I work on Warlord decks. I have to give the Wyvern deck (a special deck that only goes to those players who can beat it) a number of trial runs before I actually run it against players for the first time on the 22nd. Probably have people play against it tomorrow night, possibly with a couple of other decks I'll build in hopes of beating it. In the online world, WoW goes well. My main character's up to level 46, and I've got two alts at 17 and 18, respectively. Beyond that, I've got a good half-dozen characters sitting around at level 5-6, including Shikatou, my entry into the Night Elf brigade on Eldre'Thalas.
And of course, there is God of War. Probably going to pick that back up tomorrow night when I get home from gaming. Z enjoys falling asleep to the sounds of slaughter.
Next week, I plan on setting some time aside to work more on Mandarin, mostly to revamp the interface. Clean up the interface first, and then start plugging in the new features in ways that make sense to users. Might dabble with a couple of new CSS layouts for Nockergeek as well, just to keep sharp and on top of that. And on top of all this, I'm trying to squeeze in time to work around the house. Clean up a little here, clean up a little there, mostly in the attempt to clear out a few boxes and other odds/ends that never got unpacked from the initial move.
