nockergeek: (annoyed)
Where the hell did the sun go? It's aound 7 AM, and the sky is still midnight blue. Daylight savings time cannot come to an end soon enough. Of course, that will mean it'll be dark again when I get out of work, so I guess I'm just trading one bit of daylight for another.

I'll miss summer's long, luxurious days, when the sun was partly up by 6:30 and didn't set until almost 9:00. Something about short days makes me feel like I should go to bed about 4 hours earlier than I should.
nockergeek: (boggled)
Monday. It sure is Monday. Not in a bad way, just in a "blank stare at a blank sky" kind of way. The fog surrounding downtown KC is kind of beautiful, if by "beautiful," you mean, "OMG the clouds are eating the buildings!" It looks like nothing exists beyond a few thousand feet out, and a few hundred feet up. Everything is just gray and blank, kind of like my brain.

Also, our internet connection here at work has slowed to a crawl, thanks to the wonderful world of wireless cross-town connections. Fog eats those too.
