Hard Drives 4, Nocker 0

Well, I tested 3 of the 4 drives this morning, and found that while the BIOS recognized all 3, Windows XP didn't recognize any of them, not even on a device level, much less a partitioned drive level. Considering that only 2 of them were supposedly fried, I'm assuming that the 4th isn't any better off. I've tried every trick I can find regarding installing a second HD on XP, and none of them have worked. When Disk Management doesn't even see an un-partitioned drive, y'know there's not much hope.

So, no free 40GB drives. Oh well. At least I'm not out any cash, and that's a good thing.

...I have a Final Fantasy Tactics Advance strategy guide. I don't know why I have one; I can only imagine that either I borrowed it from animarelic at one time (which is odd, as I've never owned the game or played it on the GBA), or that he left it over here... and of course, it makes me want the game even more.

But that will have to wait. My lawnmower died today. Going to sick Dad (the Alpha Nocker) on it tomorrow and see if he can revive it. I hope so; I only got about 75% of the yard mowed, and there's a strange key-shaped unmowed spot in the back yard now.

Going to give those hard drives another go and see if I can get one of them working. Windows XP CD, you are my only hope.
