(no subject)

Woke up around 4AM with some instestinal distress, and wasn't able to fall asleep for a good hour. And now I'm up again, afterjust barely managing to coax 90 extra minutes of sleep out of my body.

Doesn't help that the bedroom is very cold right now. Window's open (when it's 56 outside), ceiling fan is on, and tesstrosa is apparently  hoarding all the blankets escept for the quilt. I had to hunt down a blanket from the couch in the living room to keep my feet warm.

Needless to say, I did not sleep well.

I just scored 4 40GB hard drives from my boss, parts of the old RAID system on our mail server. 2 of them may be fried, and he's sure that the other 2 work, but they're not labelled, so it's anyone's guess as to which ones are fried and which ones aren't. Hell, maybe they all work. That would be nice.

It'll be fun to play with 'em, though. :)

Hard drive update

Turns out that I'm out of open power connectors, so I need to pick up some Y-splitters this week, along with a new can of compressed air. Looks like I get my fun this weekend.
