Mar. 26th, 2004 04:49 pm75 and humid today. The humidty's making it very unpleasant for me, although Z loves it. It's not been a bad day, though. An interesting one, but not bad. Got an unexpected tour of Kansas City, Kansas, today when I missed a turn on the way to a meeting with a client. Never having been in KCK before, though, the lateness was forgiven.
And tonight, I get to muck around with the plumbing, as we've got not one, but two leaking valves in the bathtub. Nothing like having a steady stream of lukewarm water flowing all night. Not looking forward to messing around with the stem valves, which have been in place for who knows how long, but what can you do, y'know? Hopefully, it should just be a matter of taking the valves apart, heading out to Home Depot to find the right replacement parts, and then putting it back together correctly. Should be... interesting, which will continue the theme for the day.
