Working from home for one more day. The highways are okay, but my little Geo would be hard-pressed to climb the snow-covered hill that leads out of our neighborhood, let alone get any traction on the road just outside our house. Fortunately, I have everything here that I need (well, except for one document, but my boss can email that to me, or so I hope).

So it's almost a 4-day weekend, except for the working.

And now, my latest set of Naruto icons.
Dare you look? Dare you? )

Well... now that that's done, I have nothing to do! No emails from clients, no punch list from my boss, nothing. [livejournal.com profile] greenwings and I got one client's project deployed today, but that's really been it. I'll try to see what I can recall from the punchlist in question, but I'm not holding my breath.

Just walked down to the post office to drop off the rent check, and made a stop at Casey's on the way back to grab Z a Vanilla Coke. On the way back, I noticed that there was a small window of blue sky that followed me back home.

And hey, my boss sent that punch list! Good times!

My goodness, but I've been posting a lot lately. These new icons make me want to take advantage of having them. Added 3 new ones today to make up for some perceived holes in my iconic expressiveness.

Anyway, just wanted to say that when evening hits and you get in a bit of a funk, few things feel as good as defending Tobruk from the Hun, then switching sides and playing again, trying to pry Tobruk out of the hands of those limey Scheisskopfs. Thank you, Battlefield 1942 Single-player Demo. Your free sample has shown me that perhaps I should pick up this game sometime.
