What a day. When it rains, it pours, y'know?
Johnny Cash is dead. John Ritter is dead. Harry Goz (the voice of Captain Murphy on "Sealab 2021") is dead.
One of our clients is having major problems with parts of their system that talk to our system, as well as problems with data that didn't get imported properly into our system; this has taken up all my work time today, which will impact my other projects, which will impact my ability to take time off later to work on the new house (and working on moving into it.)
My mom got laid off today. (At least she has a back-up plan; this just accelerates her goal of going into business for herself as a personal chef.)
Just a rough day today.
