Jul. 14th, 2003 12:03 am- Church, as usual. This week's film clips included Joe's Apartment and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Did I mention that I love my church?
- Beat Death on Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. So far, I'm loving all the GBA Castlevanias.
- Saw Pirates of the Carribean. SO GOOD. Probably the best movie I've seen all year, easily shoving Matrix: Reloaded from that spot. What wasn't there to like? Pirates, curses, zombies, swordfights, ship-to-ship battles, comedy, romance, betrayal... definitely one to get on DVD.
- Got my third WC3 win on the US East realm. Slowly but surely getting better. My opponent threw all of his resources into one massive last-ditch effort to kill me, and I held fast. After that, he quit the game, giving me the win.
- Got bills paid. The last Fingerhut bill goes out tomorrow (HUZZAH!), so our next target for elimination is the Rhodes bill (for our bed). That one could take about 10 months to pay off, at $60 a month. With any luck, the Gateway bill should be pretty small by then. In a year or so, that'll save a total of $180 - $210 dollars a month. Of course, that'll be devoted to another bill, and then another, snowballing until we're making $300-$400 monthly payments on one bill, and breaking it down within a handful of months. Everything's going according to plan.
