Jul. 9th, 2003 11:10 amAnother annoyingly hot day in the office, made even more annoying by the massive leak outside my office that's seeping into the server room. Work crews are right outside getting it cleaned up, so I get to deal with the noise of the tools, the wet-vacs, and their conversation.
Not getting a whole lot done at work. Spinning my wheels on a couple of projects while I wait for more info, but enjoying the slow time because we've got at least a half-dozen projects, some of them quite large, coming down the pipe. We may be contracting some work out before too long. Personally, I'd love to get another permanent employee to help use up some of our office space and spur more hallway activity, but that's just me. ^_^
Going to enjoy leftovers for lunch, but these are different -- these are my leftovers, leftover from a meal I made myself. Well, it's spaghetti. Not like I didn't make several tons of spaghetti during my tenure at Fazoli's, but hey, I still cooked. I'll probably do dishes tonight too, and maybe bring home dinner for Z (and she will eat in a timely fashion tonight!).
