They're drilling right above my office again. It is easily one of the most annoying noises known to man, and is good for breaking my train of thought completely. What's worse is that it's sporadic; I could go an hour without hearing it, then all of a sudden have to deal with two or three minutes of random drilling, then maybe have 15 minutes of silence, and then VRRRRRRRR.
Oh well.
Oh well.
And in other news...
Apr. 29th, 2003 03:35 pm...my quest to create Spiderman and His Amazing Friends in HeroClix form has been further stymied. Oh, I have all three versions of Iceman on the way, but so far I've lost both Human Torch auctions (whom I'm using as the base/stats for Firestorm) and finding good (read: cheap) Spiderman and Rogue (who I'll be repainting as Firestorm) auctions has not been easy.
Perhaps it's a sign that I should put that plan on hold. Besides, I've got a Brotherhood of Evil Mutants collection to finish first (which is, strangely enough, also one-third complete). And really, I don't mind losing auctions on eBay. If someone wants to buy something for more than my meager offer, more power to them. They get something they want, and the seller gets more money than they'd get from me.
And besides, May is going to be a Warlord month for me anyway, since it'll be time to finally get a few packs of Call to Arms.
