nockergeek: (Thinking...)
Playing more Warlord lately -- taking a break from DBZ for couple of weeks -- and really enjoying it. I'd like to get more of my friends playing. Of course, they don't want to spend money on the cards, but that's okay -- I have over 8,000 cards, and already about 8 or 9 decks put together, so I can provide for everyone. I think all but one of the 6 factions is adequately represented -- just need to build a decent Deverenian deck. Unless someone wants to get deeper into the game on their own (as Dan has, to an extent), I can provide everything they need to play.

And for teaching purposes, I still have my Big Red Box O' Warlord Pimpin' -- a red Battle Box filled with around 26 sealed demo decks, about a dozen copies each of three different promos, tokens, rulesheets, and 20-siderd dice. I suppose I should make a dedicated push to demo the game sometime, whether or not AEG gives me any support; it's not like I don't have the materials. All I'd need would be posters/flyers/signs to indicate that I'd be running a demo, where, and when.

We shall see... I have enough friends who play d20-based games that teaching them the game won't be hard... *opnders*

Dan's L5R collection ended up going for $810, plus another $31 for 2 sets of Sneak Attacks. It's so good to see the guy getting a bit of good news, for once. Hopefully this will give him the funds to get his car fixed. Unfortunately, he's running out of things that he wants to sell. Here's to hoping that Dan gets a job soon.

Work has been very, very quiet. Several projects are either in testing by clients or awaiting more info from clients or haven't been fully spec'd out yet or are still in discussion.

It's been an uphill battle to stay busy at the moment. Perhaps talking a walk would work.
