Bzzzt.... *sputter sputter*
Just been one of those days when my brain goes on standby near the end of the day. I had a nice, productive day until about noon, and then my brain just kinda fizzled out. Monday afternnons do that. Of course, I also have really bad feng shui in my office. Tall room, light grey walls, weird energy, and a window that puts glare on my screen if I open the blinds. Got to find something to do to add live to the walls and redirect some energy into this spot. I think if I could do that, I could get my energy levels in the office up.
I'm going to try opening up the blinds and see if some natural lighting helps. Gotta be better than the flourescents I sit under. Maybe get a wallscroll or some Z-Art to liven up the walls...

Hard to find as an uncommon from Androids...
Let me explain that phrase, first.
As you may have guessed from reading my journal, I play the Dragonball Z card game. In said card game, the expansions are based loosely around the individual story arcs that make up the total plot. One of those expansions, Android Saga, came out in 2001, when my circle of DBZ-playing friends and I were taking a hiatus of sorts from the game. Fast-forward to late 2002, and we're getting back into the game, when Cell Games and World Games are the most recent sets, and Androids is nigh-impossible to find. Dan and I have several cards we're looking for and can't seem to find anywhere, and strangely enough, they're all uncommon cards from Android Saga. This has led us to using the phrase, "an uncommon from Androids" to indicate something that's highly desired and almost impossible to locate.
Now that that's out of the way, time to explain how that's relevant.
Tonight, Z and I went on a quest to find one of two games - Guilty Gear X2, a new fighting game for the PS2, or Super Smash Bros. Melee, a fighting/platform game for the Gamecube. We're looking for a game we can play together and with friends, and we have some extra cash, so we're on a quest to price out these games and get one or the other.
Best Buy? No dice. They show no evidence of either game even existing.
Toys R Us? Again, nothing. Not even an empty spot on the shelves where the games should be.
It was getting close to 8:30, so the mall wouldn't be open much longer, so we decided to cut our quest short. However, there was one consolation; at Toys R Us, there was a display of DBZ card packs...
...and hiding in the display were not one, but three packs of Android Saga, each containing at least 3 uncommons.
