I'm almost afraid to call the auto shop and find out how much it will cost to fix Runcie's exhaust system. Hopefully, it's just a hanger problem, and it won't cost too much. Well, here I go...

*calls the auto shop*

O...kay. Took two calls, and I got bounced around between 3 departments. Looks like it'll be $50 for labor. Parts are trickier, since there's 3 different exhaust hangers for a '97 Geo Metro, they range between $13 to $21 dollars, and none of them are in stock anyway.

So... if they had the parts, it'd probably be around $100 total to replace all of them. I suppose I could make the appointment now and hope the parts were in by the time my car went in on Saturday. And if not, I wait and wait and wait and wait some more. Fuck. Time to shop around, I suppose.

Molle Chevrolet wanted to charge me $50 to fix my car, just for the labor. Midas said they'll do the whole thing for between $25 to $45. Guess who's getting my business?
