Dec. 23rd, 2002 01:30 pm2 days until Christmas...
...and it's a fucking zoo outside. Traffic is backed up every which way, and it takes a long time to get in and out. Such is the downside of living behind 2 major shopping centers.
But anyway, this morning I went out to the mall before it was jam-packed with people, and attempted to do some Christmas shopping on my own, for Z is at work. Considering my friends are all gamers, toy-lovers, and movie/anime buffs, I stopped by Babbage's, KB Toys, and Suncoast Video.
And I walked away empty-handed, for I have no idea what anyone wants for Christmas, and I can't even decide on anything that would be decent or cute or good enough. Nothing caught my eye. Part of the problem, of course, is that most of my friends are wealthy enough that they can already buy anything they want that would be in my price range. The other part of the problem is that, when I have little to no information to go on, I'm horribly indecisive. I need Z with me to shop for others effectively. I know what I want, but when I'm not shopping for myself, and I don't have a handy list of items to get, I'm damn useless.
However, today hasn't been all in vain. I did get Z's DVD drive installed and tested, so now she can watch movies while she MUXes. She'll never have to leave the office again. :)
