Did some DDR last night; still getting back into the groove, but made it through 20 minutes of Workout mode last night, scoring nothing less than a B (on moderate difficulty, so no half-beat steps). And now, this morning, my calves ache. Of course, having my calves aching is probably better than having my knees ache, since muscles tend to be a bit hardier than ligaments and tendons. :)

Felt good to do it, though. Slowly re-learning how to have a lighter touch on the dance pad so it doesn't slip around so badly. Not an easy task to do, considering that I generally clomp about a bit when I walk.

Just over seven hours until I get to see The Two Towers... Seven tantalizing hours...

And lo, I must chuckle...

That last one's a kick, considering how many women I know (my wife and my mom included) who are going just to see Aragorn and Legolas.

Damn, but I'm a talky bitch today. :)

Americans Start Getting Clue, Stop Putting Up With Fascist Bullshit

Because, hey, guess what the government can do to you now!

  • Freedom of Association - Government may monitor religious and political institutions without suspecting criminal activity to assist terror investigation.
  • Freedom of Information - Government has closed once-public immigration hearings, has secretly detained hundreds of people without charges, and has encouraged bureaucrats to resist public records requests.
  • Freedom of Speech - Government may prosecute librarians or keepers of any other records if they tell anyone that the government subpoenaed information related to a terror investigation.
  • Right to Legal Representation - Government may monitor federal prison jailhouse conversations between attorneys and clients, and deny lawyers to Americans accused of crimes.
  • Freedom from Unreasonable Searches - Government may search and seize Americans' papers and effects without probable cause to assist terror investigation.
  • Right to a Speedy and Public Trial - Government may jail Americans indefinitely without a trial.
  • Right to Liberty - Americans may be jailed without being charged or being able to confront witnesses against them.
