A mix of emotions

Today, I am happy, energetic, inspired, confused, and slightly cranky... all at the same time! Don't ask how I pulled this off. Well, maybe "cranky" isn't the right term. I think my bullshit tolerance is just really low today. Maybe I just need to vent at someone or something. Some ass-beating is due tonight, I think. Perhaps it's DOA2 time, or maybe Guilty Gear X time.

Thanks to hotokegi, I've got a full playset of Phoenix cards from Broken Blades, so now I have to figure out what to do with them. A little rusty, since it's been over a few weeks since I've played, but luckily there's a tournament next weekend that I can hit. Perhaps I can visit Casa a couple of times next week... and there's always Gempukku, if I wasn't utterly afraid for no good reason to play someone online.

Work is progressing on my Rokugan d20 game, thanks to dilemma helping me get past my writer's block with some really great advice on how to build plots. He got all the gears unstuck and the cylinders firing, so major props to him. I've got a basic plot, working on my dramatis personae, and I've even been inspired to build a prestige class that I may or may not use in-game, but will definitely post online once it's done. Feels good to be inspired and creative. Once the floodgates open, it all starts flowing; I'm even more productive at work today.

And tomorrow, we see a movie! Will it be XXX, or One Hour Photo? Or maybe Signs? Who knows... we'll figure out something when we get to the theatre. And afterwards, swimmin'!
