Insomniac.

I can't sleep.

I'm just not tired. Normally, I'd be in bed by now, but I just can't sleep. I was playing Xenogears until midnight (actually made my last save and turned the PSX off at 12:01), and I've been browsing and chatting and such for the last hour. And I still cannot sleep. Having foul heartburn doesn't help much either.

Oh well, I guess I'll down some water and try to crawl into bed or somesuch.

Home sick today.

Just not feeling all that whippy this morning - body aches, a bit of a cough, fatigue - so I'm telecommuting. Thank God for DSL and secure 'net protocols. I wonder if my inability to sleep last night was a precursor to being sick today.

Workout blues.

Well, after 4 straight days of DDRing, I've hit a snag. Monday, I had cramps in my right calf that made dancing difficult, so I took a day off. Then last night, my left knee - the one that keeps going out - was really stiff, as if the tendons and muscles just below it (on my shin) were a bit inflamed. Once again, I took a day off. This morning, my knee feels fine, but I'm dead tired and feeling a bit ill. Z says a nap and some garlic should fix me right up, so who knowe... maybe I won't miss 3 days in a row.
