Enough about being afraid of dying of anthrax. I want to write about other things. It's bad enough that the cold dry air is making my lungs hurt, since it's the one thing triggers my minor asthma, which makes me even more paranoid. And it messes with my sinuses, which give me lots of drainage, which makes my lungs and throat feel not much better. BUT... I don't feel sick, I don't have any trouble breathing, there's no rattling in my chest, and I have good energy levels, so I'm pretty sure I'm fine.

*ahem*

I just said I wasn't going to talk about that. Bad me. :)

Anywho, I'm about two-fifths into Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and I'm just enjoying it more and more as I go. It's got a great sense of whimsy, and that's something I really appreciate. As I talk to Z about it, she mocks protesting as she starts enjoying the concept of the book more. I think a day or two more and she'll be warmed up to the concept of reading it. Sometimes she's so anti-trend that it's silly.

I'm going to run a d20 Rokugan game. I'm set on that. I'd like to get a few non-L5R players involved in the game too, to try to bridge the gap between hardcore D&D enthusiasts and hardcore L5R fans. Should be interesting. I just fear what would happen if we got the creative powers that are Seth and Garrett together on a common goal. Is the world ready?

...which reminds me, I need to work on my webpage some more. I think I'll start out with my current Phoenix decklist, some links, the first Gold Phoenix letter, and a review of Oriental Adventures, perhaps with a sample character -- a 1st Level Phoenix Shugenja, of course. And a pic of the Ancestral Jack-o-lantern of the Phoenix, of course. I'm such a fan boy. ;)

Any book that has a ghost named "Nearly Headless Nick" rocks. :)
