Ugh. Brain no worky. Didn't get to bed until after 3 AM, but for good reason - [livejournal.com profile] rendertarget came by to visit. We had 5 years of catching up to do, and despite our best efforts, we couldn't cram it all into 6 hours. Did some research into who was still around from high school, what happened to who, which teachers quit (there's been a lot of turnaround at HHS - I only recognized two teachers' names), etc. It seems like ages ago, and yet there are times when I can still remember the hallways and the faces and voices.

It was nice to hear about his dreams of starting a development house. I'd love to see him go for it - he's got some really good ideas. At the same time, I completely understand his misgivings. It's a risky, risky venture to embark upon, especially in today's business climate. If he does do it, though, I'll be one of the first in line to buy the game, just to show my support.

Also heard about his roleplaying exploits. Man, I'm jealous. ^_^ I need to get into a good, deep game with lots of character interaction like that. Maybe I can bust my hump on finishing up my BESM character this weekend and see where Dennis goes with it. I've switched my character's background from dark and gritty (which I know won't fit what everyone else is doing), to more lighthearted (a la Naruto)... should be interesting to see how it plays out.

many questions for the non working brain...

heh, well, without giving too much away, dark and seedy would fit in with the ringleader npc...but it's your call, I already know Dan's hero-esk character is going to bump heads a lot...although with the lackluster enthusiasm and everyone being busy, I think it's been put on hold for now...although if people start bringing it up again I'll set aside a saturday a month to get it going...(don't really want a 2nd BESM game to get to character creation and then die off...)

In other notes, since you're brain fried, you still up for us visiting tonight, or do we need to push that back another week again?
